Clifton is my first full font project, designed in 2021 under the instruction of Troy Leinster in his Principles of Type Design class.
When practicing my letterforms and calligraphy for this project, I took inspiration from writing out the names of Melbourne's suburbs. Thus when naming my final font I chose the name Clifton, after the suburb I was living in at the time, Clifton Hill.
